So Thou Thinkest Thou Can Dance Battlefield House Museum & Park Listen to lively music, learn new skills and meet new people at this regency period dance workshop. It’s easier than it sounds! Just imagine yourself in Jane Austen’s "Pride and Prejudice" and join us for an evening of light-hearted fun. Light refreshments will be served. Christmas in the Pioneer Spirit Battlefield House Museum & Park Join us for an early 19th century family Christmas; where a crackling fire warms you, evergreen boughs bedeck the mantles and enticing smells fill the air. Date: Saturday, November 20, 2010 to Sunday, January 2, 2011 Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Ages: All Cost: Regular admission rates apply to the museum. Austen-Tacious: A Regency Romp Battlefield House Museum & Park Experience the elegance and grace of the regency period as we celebrate the writings of author Jane Austen. Costumes, music, dancing, readings and refreshments bring the charm of the early 19th century to life. Date: Saturday, November 27, 2010 Time: 7:00 p.m. Ages: All Cost: $15.00 per person. Workshop: Gingerbread House Workshop Battlefield House Museum & Park Children will decorate their own pre-made, homemade gingerbread house to take home. The workshop includes a visit with St. Nicholas. Date: Saturday, December 11, 2010 Time: 10:00 a.m. Ages: 2 to 12 years. Cost: $25.00 per person. Pre-registration required.
